Adults Only
Relax next to the glorious Oxford Canal and watch life go by at narrowboat speed. There are 2000 miles of canal towpath to explore, or for the less adventurous, it is only a 20 minute stroll to a fabulous canalside pub.
Camping how it used to be.
We have our own borehole for drinking water which means no showers,
but we do have portable toilets
and washing up sinks.
Pitches for tents, campervans/motorhomes,
trailer tents and caravans.
With a special pitch for those arriving on two wheels, foot or by water.
Cycling, walking, kayaking/canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing and birdwatching. Plenty to do right from our campsite, making sure you don't get bored of chilling.
We're in a superb location in the beautiful Cherwell Valley.
No restrictions on the number of dogs that you bring camping. We do not charge for dogs.
Usual asks - on a lead and clear up after them plus do not let your dog spoil someone elses day.
Different units can pitch together ensuring that your group stays together.
If you want to organise a special 'get together' simply send us an email of what you have in mind and we'll rise to the challenge.
Please remember that we are over 18's.
We offer a 25% discount on standard tent and touring pitches for solo campers
Due to the closure of our small local abattoir we have had to suspend our 'rare breed' pig breeding programme. This, combined with the need to rest our outdoor pig pens, means that there will not be any pigs onsite this season.
The ethos of our outdoor café was to produce rare breed pork and showcase it at our on-site outdoor café. The closure of the local abattoir prevents us from producing our own pork. Naturally we have explored other ways of keeping the quality we are well known for, but increased labour costs and buying in rare breed pork makes the running of the café regrettably unsustainable in 2025.
Our camping reception/shop will be offering a selection of hot and cold drinks plus cake and snacks.
Increases in staff costs introduced in April 2025 means that we have altered our licensed service. Alcohol will now be served from our camping reception/shop which has a small bar area inside and benches outside for you to enjoy the view.
The shop will have flexible opening hours during the week and will be open until 8pm on Friday's and Saturday's.
Our campsite is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by the amazing Cherwell Valley with the Cotswolds just on our doorstep.
We are easily accessible being only a few miles from the M40 and have a local train station in Kings Sutton with a mainline link into London.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors without breaking the bank. Our rates are lower than last year due to the reduction in amenties and live music and we offer discounts for extended stays.
They can only be used where sited next to the canal and not in the camping fields. You are welcome to take your camping chairs to the firepits as sofas are no longer provided.
THE FIRE PITS MUST NOT BE MOVED - Offenders will be evicted.
We sell logs and kindling in the shop.
